We hope you had a productive and restful summer with family and friends.

We want to welcome our children back to a new year at the Cypress Sunday School, inshallah starting on August 28th  at 10:00 AM.

REGISTRATION STARTS AUGUST 27, 2016 – 12:00 – 2:00 PM

REGISTRATION CONTINUES AND FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL, AUGUST 28, 2016 – 9:30 AM -2:00 PM

Registration is required for all returning as well as new students.  The tuition is to cover the costs of the school – free lunch, books, library, supplies, and stipends of a few teachers (who teach Arabic language).  Most of our teachers are volunteers.  Thanks to a host of engaged parent volunteers, we are able to keep our costs down.  The tuition has not increased in the past two years.

The registration fee and other information is available when you come in.  Payment is accepted by checks and credit card.  Cash payments are also accepted.  Receipts are provided for all payments. Registration is essential so that we can anticipate and plan the classes and recruit adequate teachers.

For returning students (and parents) we will have an easier registration process. You do not need to fill out a new registration form, simply sign a pre-filled form available at the registration desk.

The largely volunteer based school offers a unique learning experience for your children, ages 4 and up, through an innovative curriculum that focuses on the Quran (recitation, memorization), Quranic Arabic, Seerah, Salat and Dua, Adab and Islamic studies.  The students are evaluated at the time of admission, and a few times through the year to ensure learning.

Our vision is to produce young Muslims who are knowledgeable and confident about their faith Islam, and are also informed American citizens.  To this end we complement our traditional curriculum with field trips and activities to build leadership skills and community outreach.
