Kids play area has been completed. Now the young ones can enjoy the swings and burn off the extra energy.
More rides are planned for the area and with Allah’s help and the communities participation, we will keep adding in the future.

Assalam Alaiqum.
Inshallah we have an exciting project planned for the Cypress Sunday School children.
As in spring last year, we are doing a food collection for the Houston Food Bank (only canned foods can be donated).
Please help your children donate some food to the collection between now and March 28th. Inshallah the plan is to take the collection on March 29th, Saturday morning to the Houston Food Bank and deliver it.
Building on last year’s effort, this year we also plan to spend 3-4 hours in the HFB as on one of the registered teams who would help pack boxes and packages for schools. These are sent to schools all over Houston for children who live in families who suffer from food insecurity.
Today in the assembly I shared some statistics on hunger in Harris and surrounding counties. According to some statistics, more than 66,000 people including nearly 2,500 children go to bed hungry. We will continue to offer these lessons to build up their leadership and community awareness competencies.
Wassalam,
Sunday School Team
Sunday School arranged a picnic for the families at Bear Creek Park.
Around 35 families participated making it a success.
Kids had fun so did the adults with a game of cricket.
